I want to do a permaculture basics series, for the ones of you that are not dyed in the wool permaculture nuts or are just getting started. The first thing is to not let the Perma police and internet snipers kill your mojo. The main reason I want to do this is so you can see good permaculture design is not to much for you to do. Keep in mind, is that it is your system is for you life style and purpose. Don’t let strangers influence you or make you have a system for them. Social shame has no place in your system. You do not need to be an expert to build the system that will work best for you. It is ok not to know everything. It is OK to screw some things up. The end game is to learn, permaculture is not a pass or fail test. Permaculture is a journey that leads you to a better and more simple and rewarding life.

  3. Great perspective on some of the issues that I’ve noted while looking at different YouTube videos, web sites and other sources of information on permaculture. There are a couple that I am following, in addition to yourself, to get ideas on how I may implement some of the concepts/practices they employ. They are Jack Spirko and Permaculture Homestead.
